lose 20kg - transform your body

Tip #1
ONE thing I did to ‪#‎lose20kg‬ - ‪#‎coffee‬ - I love a morning coffee. I limited myself to one a day, so I make it a good one from a great coffee shop. I changed to a soy latte, sometimes half strength, added cinnamon if I felt like - it helped to lower my blood pressure.

Tip #2
ONE thing I did to ‪#‎lose20kgs‬ is change my wine drinking habit. I now only have one glass of wine 2-3 nights a week. Some weeks I have no wine. I half fill the glass with ice then cover it with wine. Half way thru I top up with sparkling water. That's about 2750 calories a week less.

Tip #3
ONE thing I did to lose #20kg was tidy out my kitchen. I set it up so I could work with new food choices. I menu planned from thousands of great online recipes, and some of my own, and made a shop list to suit. I never left the house without my own snacks, so I didn't let myself get hungry and be tempted to buy food not on my choice food list.

Xmas tips
one thing I’ll do to #lose20kg over the christmas feasting time is to cut myself some slack. Try it. Break the routine and eat and drink what you feel. Its only a day, thats what you’ll say. But actually, now I know my body better excess food and toxins are less welcome. I think just one day of it, will encourage me to new heights for the next year.

Tip#5
one thing I did to #lose 20kg - Start each day with FRUIT - Any fruit makes a wonderful substitute for refined sugars to satisfy your sweet tooth and for good quality energy.
For extra treats and Christmas specials try Figs. They are delicious, better fresh if you can get them, and okay dried. They lower the acidity in the body.
A highly acidic body can harbour disease such as cancer, autoimmune and heart disease. Figs balance your acidic diet (meat, dairy, coffee, alcohol, refined foods = all highly acidic).
Dried figs are also very high in fibre, iron, calcium, and magnesium.

As a special Xmas treat fresh figs are beautifully soft and sweet - eaten fresh from the tree, added to a fruit salad, or in a rocket salad.

Tip#6
ONE thing I did to #lose 20kg was spend more of my grocery budget on fruit and vegetables. I resisted the supermarket and shopped first at fruit shops. Good fruit shops offer frozen or preserved fruits, complementary products like grain breads, nuts and grain from self serve bins, and so on. Weekend markets can be good and often organic. Make the effort, it becomes easy after the first few tries. Then eat 8-10 pieces a day.

Tip#7
ONE thing I did to ‪#‎lose‬ 20kg is to GET SIMPLE about food choices. Avoid combining more than 4 ingredients at one time to make a dish. However you can have 2 or 3 dishes on your plate at the same time.
Dish 1. a pile of lettuce(cut or torn),tossed with grated raw beetroot, corriander and drizzled with aged balsamic
Dish 2. chicken breast medallions, dipped in egg or lemon juice, coated in LSA, gently pan fried (you could top with your favourite relish or aioli)
Dish 3. golden kumera, cut long and thick, tossed in olive oil, oven baked until crispy
